Hackemos launched on November 18, 2024, to provide students with relief from repetitive Conjuguemos assignments. But more importantly, to enhance the security of Conjuguemos by identifying and demonstrating potential vulnerabilities.
For years, Conjuguemos has struggled with security. In 2012, instead of fixing hacks, the site simply displayed an alert saying, “Stop trying to hack us.” Although many major vulnerabilities were patched by 2016 after the site’s security was “improved tremendously,” - Alejandro Yegros, it remains a client-side security risk to this day and is still easy to hack.
Hackemos exists to help change that. We strive for a future where Conjuguemos is no longer the buggy platform it currently is and where teachers create assignments that respect students' time, rather than relying on repetitive typing exercises.
If you are a representative of Conjuguemos and would like to have Hackemos taken down, please reach out to us. We will consider your request and take appropriate action.
